The Supported Door

Part of the Checkmate Patterns I section of Coddy's Tactics & Checkmates journey. Lesson 7 of 40.

Some doors the king guards himself - the empty square right beside him. Alone, your rook cannot enter: the king just takes. But a king may never capture into another piece's gaze, so a supported attacker walks straight in.
