How to use these while you are learning
- Work the problem yourself first, then run it here and compare routes rather than answers - two correct methods can reach the same number.
- Read the steps, not just the last line. The step you cannot explain in your own words is the one worth studying.
- Change one number at a time and watch which steps change with it. That is how you learn what each part of a formula is actually doing.
- When a tool refuses your input, read why. "This is linear, not quadratic" is a real piece of mathematics, not an error message.
