Introduction

Welcome to Coddy, a web-based service that facilitate learning and practicing of code writing (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how information about you is collected and used by the Service, which is developed and operated by Coddy Inc. (“Coddy” or “we”, “us”, “our”) , when we operate as a data controller. If you use Institutional Coddy as a teacher or a student, we only process your personal data on behalf of your school, school district, school system, tutoring center or educational institution (“Institutional Customer”) behalf, as described in our Data Processing Addendum and our Privacy Notice for Institutional Coddy, available here.

You have the right to review the personal information we collect and use about you and the right to request correction of your personal information. You may always delete your user account and your personal data via the Service dashboard.

The Service is not directed to users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information or data from children under the age of 13 or knowingly allow minors under the age of 13 to use the Service. Additional age restrictions may apply in your country.

This Policy may be amended from time to time. We will post any change to this Policy on our Service at a reasonable time in advance of the effective date of the change, and we will also make efforts to proactively notify you by email of the changes if we have your email address.

Coddy Inc. is the data controller of the personal information collected via the Service. If you use Institutional Coddy as a teacher or a student, Coddy is the data processor for the personal information it processes on the Institutional Customer behalf, as described in our Data Processing Addendum and our Privacy Notice for Institutional Coddy, available here.

International data transfers

To facilitate processing your information through the Service and by our service providers, we will transfer your information to countries outside the EU or the UK.
