Final: Tangents to sin 2x
Part of the Trig Identities section of Coddy's Trigonometry journey. Lesson 48 of 52.
Prove the identity in the prompt. Only tangents appear on the left, and a sine of a double angle on the right.
Challenge
Prove that 2tan(x)/(1 + tan(x)²) equals sin(2x): rewrite it until the board reads sin(2x). Then press Check.
Try it yourself
2tan(x)/(1 + tan(x)^2)
Simplify the expression
This lesson includes a short quiz. Start the lesson to answer it and track your progress.
