Twice the Inscribed Angle
Part of the Circles section of Coddy's Geometry journey. Lesson 28 of 62.
Read the rule the other way: the central angle is twice the inscribed angle on the same arc. When the angle at the circle is the one you know, double it to get the angle at the center.
Here ∠APB is 35°, so ∠AOB is 70°. The board's Inscribed angle rule works in both directions: tap whichever angle is unknown.
Challenge
∠APB is inscribed in circle O and ∠AOB is the central angle on the same arc. Find ∠AOB, then press Check.
