Final: The Tangent Road
Part of the Transformations & Constructions section of Coddy's Geometry journey. Lesson 61 of 61.
A round pond has its center at O, and A is on its shore. A straight road leaves the town at P and just touches the pond's edge without crossing it. Construct the road with the basic tools only: line, circle and point.
Challenge
Construct a tangent to the circle from P, using only line, circle and point, then press Check.
Try it yourself
Construct it with a compass and straightedge
This lesson includes a short quiz. Start the lesson to answer it and track your progress.
