Fractions and x's
Part of the Fundamentals section of Coddy's Algebra journey. Lesson 62 of 64.
The second challenge has a fraction. In 2x/3 - 1 = 5, the unknown is multiplied by 2, divided by 3, and then 1 is subtracted. You can undo those operations in reverse order. Or you can start by multiplying every term by the denominator, 3, to clear the fraction. Both methods leave x on its own.
