Final: Mixed and Divided
Part of the Factors & Fractions section of Coddy's Pre-Algebra journey. Lesson 55 of 58.
This line divides a mixed number by a fraction and then subtracts a fraction. The mixed number is written as a sum inside parentheses, and the fraction bar shows the division. Work it one step per line until a single fraction is left.
Challenge
Work out (2 + 1/2) / (5/6) - 1/3, one step per line. The first part is 2 and 1/2 divided by 5/6.
