Four Angles, Two Turns
Part of the Angles and the Unit Circle section of Coddy's Trigonometry journey. Lesson 54 of 57.
A mark on a wheel of radius 1 starts at the 3 o'clock position, and the wheel turns counterclockwise through two full turns. At which angles is the mark's across exactly -√(2)/2, that is, where is cos(θ) = -√(2)/2?
Challenge
Tap every angle from 0° up to 720° with cos(θ) = -√(2)/2. The Turn buttons above the circle switch to the second turn. Then press Check.
