Questions teachers ask

How do students join my class?

Share one class link. Students sign in with a free Coddy account and land in your class. You never create accounts.

Do I have to follow Coddy's curriculum?

No. You assign one chapter at a time, from your class journey or any course, in any order.

Is grading automatic?

Checking is. Every exercise runs against tests when it is submitted, and the gradebook tracks completion. Scored tests come with assessments.

How many seats do I need?

One per student. You and your co-teachers are free, and your own account includes Pro so you can try every lesson. Add seats from your dashboard any time, and reuse them next term.

Can my school pay by invoice or purchase order?

Yes, on 6 month and yearly plans, net 30. For more than 300 seats, ask us for a quote.

Can other teachers help run my classes?

Yes, and they are free. Instructors run their own classes and see only those students. Admins see every class.

What ages is Coddy for?

13 and up: grades 8 to 12, college and adult classes.

Are assessments available yet?

Not yet. Ask for early access and we will tell you when they are ready.

Is there a free plan for teachers?
