Final: Clear the Root
Part of the Radicals & Rational Exponents section of Coddy's Algebra 2 journey. Lesson 40 of 43.
Rewrite the fraction on the board so that no root is left in its denominator. Its bottom is a difference of two roots. Simplify the result as far as it goes.
Challenge
Write 8/(√(6) - √(2)) with no root in the denominator, multiplied out.
Try it yourself
8/(sqrt(6) - sqrt(2))
Clear the root from the denominator
This lesson includes a short quiz. Start the lesson to answer it and track your progress.
