Color and Amount
Part of the Game Feel section of Coddy's Godot journey. Lesson 14 of 23.
The same particle node can make very different effects. Most of the difference is the color and the number of particles.
$Burst.color = Color(1, 0.42, 0.42)
$Burst.amount = 100color sets the color of every particle. This Burst also has a color ramp that fades each particle out at the end of its life. amount is how many particles the burst throws out.
Use big, bright bursts for big events and small ones for small events.
Challenge
EasyMake the sparks gold and add more of them. In _ready, set the Burst's color to amber, Color(1, 0.78, 0.34), and its amount to 60. Press E to see it.
