Tidy Up
Lesson 7 of 20 in Coddy's Roblox Game: Escape the Dark course.
Every door adds a room, and none ever goes away: a long run would fill the game with rooms nobody will see again. Keep the newest room and Settings.KeepRooms behind it, and destroy the rest:
for _, old in rooms:GetChildren() do
if old:GetAttribute("Number") < count - Settings.KeepRooms then
old:Destroy()
end
endThe lobby is room 0, so it goes too once the player is far enough in. The rooms players can reach stay.
Challenge
MediumAt the end of addRoom, before it returns, destroy every room whose number is below count - Settings.KeepRooms.
Press Play, then Check.
