Recap - Inside the Sun
Part of the Optics, Waves and Modern Physics section of Coddy's Physics journey. Lesson 53 of 53.
Challenge
In the Sun, four protons end up as one helium-4 nucleus and two positrons. A proton is 1.007276 u, a helium-4 nucleus 4.001506 u, and a positron 0.000549 u. First find the mass that disappears, m_d, then the energy E given out, in MeV.
