A vinegar label says it holds ethanoic acid, CH₃COOH. To check, a lab technician puts 5 mL5\ \mathrm{mL} of the vinegar in a flask with phenolphthalein and adds 0.5 M0.5\ \mathrm{M} sodium hydroxide from a burette. The solution turns pink after 8 mL8\ \mathrm{mL}:

CH₃COOH + NaOH → CH₃COONa + H₂O

What is the concentration of ethanoic acid in the vinegar?
