Salts

Part of the Acids and Bases section of Coddy's Chemistry journey. Lesson 20 of 30.

A salt: a positive ion (metal or NH₄⁺) with the negative ion of an acid. NaCl, CaCO₃, CaSO₄.

The charges cancel: Ca²⁺ and NO₃⁻ make Ca(NO₃)₂.
