Enemy Types
Lesson 5 of 18 in Coddy's Roblox Game: Tower Defense course.
The settings describe four kinds of enemy: a Zombie, a fast and fragile Runner, a slow Brute that hits the base twice as hard, and a Boss:
Runner = { Health = 8, Speed = 14, Reward = 6, Damage = 1 },Each model in ServerStorage.Enemies has the right look; spawnEnemy gives it its numbers. A Humanoid's health is two properties: MaxHealth, the most it can have, and Health, what it has now. Its speed is WalkSpeed, in studs per second.
An enemy's name is its kind, so at the base Settings.Enemies[enemy.Name].Damage is how hard it hits.
Challenge
Easy- In
spawnEnemy, readlocal info = Settings.Enemies[kind]and set the Humanoid'sMaxHealth,HealthandWalkSpeedfrom it. - At the base, damage it by
Settings.Enemies[enemy.Name].Damageinstead of 1.
