Splash
Lesson 13 of 18 in Coddy's Roblox Game: Tower Defense course.
The Cannon is slow, but its shell bursts: it hurts every enemy within Splash studs of the one it hit. Enemies walk in a line, so one shot can catch several.
Only the Cannon's row in the settings has a Splash, so info.Splash is nil for the others and one if picks the kind of shot:
if info.Splash then
-- everyone within info.Splash of the target
else
target.Humanoid:TakeDamage(damage)
endChallenge
MediumIn shoot, when info.Splash is set, hurt every enemy whose HumanoidRootPart is within info.Splash studs of the target, instead of the target alone. Other towers still hit only their target.
Press Play, build a Cannon, then Check.
