Asking for a favour sweetly
(。◕‿◕。)
(๑•ᴗ•๑)
Big eyes ask; the shy version asks and apologises for asking. Both take the edge off a request.

Kawaii art puts the whole face in the eyes and shrinks everything else, and text faces do the same. ◕ and ◉ are large glossy eyes; • and ・ are small ones that read as shy; ᵕ and ω are the tiny mouths. The 。 and ๑ marks on either side of the face are round cheeks - (。◕‿◕。) has them, (◕‿◕) does not, and the first is noticeably cuter.
Small additions push it further. A flower ✿ in the corner - (◕ᴗ◕✿) - is a hair clip; ʚ ɞ around a face are butterfly wings; hands on cheeks (´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`) is the squeal of delight. Animals count as cute by default, which is why the Cats and Bunnies pages are next door.
The board above opens on the Cute category. Tap any face to copy it; the Blush & Shy tab has the more flustered versions.

Hands on the cheeks is the universal reaction to a puppy; the squeezed eyes are the squeal that goes with it.
