Rebirth Bonus
Lesson 16 of 18 in Coddy's Roblox Game: Factory Tycoon course.
A rebirth is only worth it if it pays. Each rebirth adds Settings.RebirthBonus (0.5) to a multiplier on everything the collector pays: 1 rebirth earns 1.5 times as much, 2 rebirths twice as much.
value = math.floor(value * (1 + rebirths * Settings.RebirthBonus))math.floor keeps Cash a whole number: an IntValue holds whole numbers anyway, and rounding down on purpose means you choose how, instead of the IntValue choosing.
Challenge
HardIn the collector, before paying the owner, multiply the ore's value by 1 + Rebirths * Settings.RebirthBonus (the owner's Rebirths), rounded down with math.floor.
Press Play, rebirth, and watch each ore pay more. Then Check.
