Double Check
Part of the Tactics section of Coddy's Chess journey. Lesson 23 of 48.
A discovered check is greedy; a double check is rude. The mover checks too, so both checks burn at once: no block covers two lines, no capture removes two checkers. The king moves or nothing does - a queen, two rooks, a whole army, frozen for one move.
