King and Queen vs King

Part of the Tactics section of Coddy's Chess journey. Lesson 44 of 48.

The most common won ending there is, and it is a technique, not a tactic: box the king with the queen, shrink the box from a knight's distance, then walk your own king up - a queen cannot mate alone. And when he is down to one square, never take it quietly: that is stalemate.
