Winning a Pinned Piece
Part of the Tactics section of Coddy's Chess journey. Lesson 16 of 48.
A pinned piece cannot run away. That is an invitation: attack it again, and it must stand there and take it. But pinned is not undefended - grabbing a guarded pinned piece is a trade, not a win. Bring the cheapest attacker, usually a pawn, and let the position collect for you.
