Co-interior Angles
Part of the Angles section of Coddy's Geometry journey. Lesson 34 of 62.
Last pair: between the parallels and on the same side of the transversal, the C (or U) shape. These co-interior angles are not equal: they add to 180°. Why: the alternate twin of one of them is equal to it, and that twin forms a straight line with the other.
In the figure, 125 + w = 180, so w = 55. Three pairs, two behaviors: F and Z copy, C supplements. The letter tells you which rule to reach for.
