Equal Slices
Part of the Angles section of Coddy's Geometry journey. Lesson 24 of 62.
When every angle around the point is equal, the sum becomes a multiplication: n equal slices of x° give nx = 360. Finding one slice is a single division.
Four equal slices: 4y = 360, so y = 90: four right angles, which is exactly what perpendicular lines create. The pattern scales: six slices give 60° each, eight give 45°, and a pizza cut fairly is this lesson at dinner.
