Verticals Meet Parallels
Part of the Angles section of Coddy's Geometry journey. Lesson 38 of 62.
Some marked pairs match none of the three letters. Then chain: trade an angle for its vertical twin (equal, from chapter 4) until a nameable pair appears. One trade is usually enough.
The 75° sits above the top line, and no single letter joins it to w° directly. But its vertical twin sits between the parallels, also 75°, and that twin makes a C with w°. So 75 + w = 180 and w = 105. Two small rules, chained, reach what neither could alone.
