No Hurry
Part of the Playing Real Games section of Coddy's Chess journey. Lesson 27 of 40.
A queen up against a bare king, you cannot lose - except one way. Rushing. No hurry: before every move ask whether the enemy king still has a square; if not, and he is not in check, you have drawn. Bring your king closer, keep the queen a knight's move from his, and mate when the net is complete.
