A system is an opening you can play against almost anything without memorising lines. Yours as White is the slow Italian: e4, Nf3, Bc4, then c3, d3, castle, Nbd2, Bb3, h3, Re1 - the same ten moves, in nearly the same order, every game. Learn the shape here; the plans come next.
