Touch Move and the Clock
Part of the Playing Real Games section of Coddy's Chess journey. Lesson 37 of 40.
Across a real board there are rules the screen never taught you. Touch move: touch your piece and you must move it; touch theirs and you must capture it. Adjust with a word first. The clock runs on your move; your flag falls, you lose. Offer a draw after your move, before pressing the clock. Resign by saying so.
