Under Pressure

Part of the Playing Real Games section of Coddy's Chess journey. Lesson 31 of 40.

Fundamentals taught the three answers to a check: move, block, capture. Real games add the question that matters: which of them loses nothing? A block with the queen is a queen given away; a king step into another check is a second problem. Run the list, then run the landing-square check on each.
