What is Physics?
Part of the Mechanics section of Coddy's Physics journey. Lesson 1 of 97.
Physics explains how things move and why: a ball in the air, a car braking, a crate sliding down a ramp. It works with quantities, a number with a unit, like or , and with rules that connect them.
On Coddy you solve every physics problem on a board, in two steps: first you write the rule in letters, then you put the numbers in and finish with the unit.
Challenge
Bit walks in . How fast does Bit walk?
This problem is already solved for you. What to do:
- Look at the rule in letters: the speed is the distance divided by the time.
- Press Check to check it.
- Look at the numbers going in, then press Check again.
Try it yourself
