Draw From a Point
Part of the Graphs & Systems section of Coddy's Algebra journey. Lesson 26 of 64.
The drawing version of point-slope needs no algebra at all: put the pencil on the known point and take slope-sized steps. Through (1, -2) with slope 3: from (1, -2), one right and three up lands on (2, 1); two points, one line.
A negative slope steps down instead of up, and a fractional slope like 2/3 steps two up for three right. The known point is the anchor; the slope is the stride.
Challenge
The point (1, -2) is marked. Draw the line through it with slope 3.
