Recap: f(x)
Part of the Graphs & Systems section of Coddy's Algebra journey. Lesson 41 of 64.
f(x) = rule names it, f(3) evaluates it with brackets around signed inputs, f(x) = k unfolds and solves backwards, and the graph is y = f(x). The challenge runs backwards through a rule with a subtraction.
Challenge
The rule is g(x) = 2x - 5. Solve g(x) = 1 for x.
Try it yourself
g(x) = 1
Solve for x
