Habit Tracker: Days Done
Part of the Projects section of Coddy's Flutter journey. Lesson 31 of 36.
Seven circles are easy to read, but a number is quicker: "4 of 7 days". It is worked out from the days, so it belongs to the Habit as a getter:
int get done => days.where((day) => day).length;where keeps the items its test lets through. The test here is the day itself, since each day already is true or false.
Put the count on the name's line, on the right. A Row with the name in an Expanded pushes the count to the end, and a long name wraps instead of pushing the count off the card.
Ticking already calls setState on the screen, so every card is rebuilt and every count is read again. Nothing else to wire up.
Challenge
EasyCount the days done:
- add the
donegetter toHabit - replace the name in
HabitCardwith aRow: the name in anExpanded, then4 of 7 days(with the real number) in the theme'sbodySmall
