Cancel your subscription
Cancel a plan you bought on the website from Billing settings. A plan bought in the iPhone or Android app is cancelled in the App Store or Google Play. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Updated October 17, 2026
Where you cancel depends on where you bought the plan. Your progress, certificates and XP stay on your account either way.
For a plan you bought on coddy.tech with a card:
- Open your Profile and choose Billing settings (or go to coddy.tech/profile?p=billing).
- Under Manage, press CANCEL PLAN.
- Pick the reason you are leaving, then press CONTINUE CANCELATION.
- On the last screen, press CONTINUE CANCELATION again.
Billing settings then shows Status: Active (Auto-renewal off) and the date your plan ends.
A plan bought in the iPhone or iPad app is billed by Apple, so only Apple can cancel it:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Coddy.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
You can also get there from Coddy: Profile, the gear icon, then Billing settings.
A plan bought in the Android app is billed by Google Play, so only Google Play can cancel it:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Coddy and tap Cancel subscription.
You can also get there from Coddy: Profile, the gear icon, then Billing settings.
What happens after you cancel
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After that your account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.
Changed your mind? Before the period ends, open Billing settings and press REACTIVATE PLAN to turn renewal back on.
Special cases
- Lifetime never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
- PayPal plans are paid by invoice and do not renew. They simply end on their expiry date.
- Family members can't cancel the family plan. Use LEAVE FAMILY PLAN on the Family page, or ask the person who pays to cancel it.
- A plan from your school is managed by your school. Ask your teacher or school admin.
