Journeys, courses and paths
- A journey is the main course for one language or subject, such as Python. It is made of sections, and each section ends with a certificate.
- Catalog courses cover topics such as data structures or clean code, often in several languages. Find them under the sections on your journey page, or with Search.
- Career paths put sections and courses from several journeys in order toward one goal, such as Backend or Data Analyst. Pick one on the Journeys page with Make this my path.
Switch to another journey
On the website, click the journey logo at the top of the page to open My Journeys, then pick one or press BROWSE JOURNEYS. Your progress in the old journey stays where you left it, so you can come back at any time.
Skip ahead
Already know the basics? Open a later section and press JUMP TO SECTION. To unlock a later chapter, you take a short test. It doesn't cost energy, and passing it unlocks the chapter's lessons.
Start a section over
Open Progress, find the section and choose to reset it. You type the section's name to confirm. Your submissions are kept, and you start the section from the beginning. Progress is reset one section at a time.
