Delete your account
Delete your account from Preferences on the website, or Edit profile in the app. Deletion is permanent. A card subscription is cancelled for you, but an App Store or Google Play subscription must be cancelled in the store first.

Before you delete
- App Store or Google Play subscription: cancel it in the store first, and wait until the paid period ends. Until then the account can't be deleted. See Cancel your subscription.
- Card subscription on the website: it is cancelled automatically when you delete.
- PayPal plan: it doesn't renew, so nothing more is charged.

Delete it
- Open Preferences and scroll to Danger zone.
- Press DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Type your email address, tick both boxes, and press DELETE ACCOUNT.
Keep the window open until it says your account is deleted.
- Open Profile, tap the gear icon, then Edit profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Type your email address, tick both boxes, and tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
What is deleted and what is kept
We delete your profile, progress, code submissions, projects, AI chats, class memberships and email settings. If you run a Family plan, it ends; if you are a member, you are removed.
We keep the record of your payments, because the law requires it.
