Edit your profile, username and avatar
Change your display name, username, bio and social links in Edit profile. Your avatar is a character you build in the avatar editor. The name on your certificates is your display name.

- Open your Profile and choose Edit profile (or go to coddy.tech/profile?p=edit).
- Change your Display Name, Username, bio or social network links.
- Press SAVE CHANGES.
- Open Profile and tap the gear icon.
- Tap Edit profile, make your changes and save.
Rules for names
- Display Name: up to 30 characters. It is also the name printed on your certificates.
- Username: 3 to 20 letters and numbers, unique on Coddy. You can change it once every 24 hours.
Your avatar
Coddy avatars are characters you build, not photo uploads. On the website, press the pencil on your profile card to open the editor, pick heads, hair, clothes, frames and colors, then press SAVE. In the app, tap your avatar on the Profile tab. Some items are unlocked in the Store.
Make your profile private
On the website, open Preferences and go to Privacy. Turn on Private profile to hide your profile from other users, or choose who can see your activity. With a private profile, your certificates show "Coddy Learner" instead of your name.
