"Quick security check": confirm you are human
Sometimes, before an action such as sending a reset email or running code without an account, Coddy asks you to confirm you are human. It protects our servers from bots. Signed-in users never see it.

Why you see it
Coddy uses a security check from Cloudflare to keep bots away from its servers. Usually it runs invisibly. It only shows a box when it can't tell that you are a person.
You may see it when you aren't signed in, or on a guest account, and you:
- send a password reset email
- run code on a public lesson page
- create an account
Signed-in users never see it. Signing in is the simplest way to avoid it.
If it fails or keeps coming back
- Reload the page and try once more.
- Check that your device's date and time are set automatically. A wrong clock makes the check fail.
- Allow scripts from challenges.cloudflare.com. Some ad blockers and privacy extensions block it.
- Try another browser or turn off your VPN for a moment.
