Is Coddy free?
Yes. Every course, lesson and certificate is free. A free account has a daily energy limit and some daily limits on the AI tutor. Plus and Pro remove the limits and add extra tools.
Updated October 17, 2026
Yes. You can learn every course on Coddy, finish whole sections and earn their certificates without paying. You don't need a card to start.
What the free plan limits
- Energy. Each passed challenge or finished quiz uses 1 energy, and energy refills 1 every 4 hours. See Energy.
- Quizzes. You see the first 5 questions of each lesson quiz.
- Bugsy, the AI tutor, and Debug. 3 of each a day.
- Projects. Up to 3.
- Ads. Free accounts see ads.
What a paid plan adds
Plus removes the energy limit and the ads, and shows every quiz question. Pro adds unlimited Bugsy, the best AI model, solution analysis and premium challenges. See Plans compared.
Is there a free trial?
The free plan is the trial. Every course is open on it, so you can find out whether Coddy works for you before you pay anything.
