Das passende cos 2x wählen

Teil des Abschnitts Trigonometrische Gleichungen und Umkehrfunktionen der Trigonometry-Journey von Coddy. Lektion 44 von 52.

cos 2x hat drei Formen: cos⁡(x)2−sin⁡(x)2{\cos\left(x\right)}^{2}-{\sin\left(x\right)}^{2}, 2cos⁡(x)2−12{\cos\left(x\right)}^{2}-1 und 1−2sin⁡(x)21-2{\sin\left(x\right)}^{2}. Wähle die Form mit derselben Funktion wie der Rest der Gleichung, sodass nur eine Funktion übrig bleibt.

Bei cos⁡(2x)=cos⁡(x)\cos\left(2x\right) = \cos\left(x\right) ist der Rest in Kosinus, also verwende 2cos²x − 1: 2cos⁡(x)2−cos⁡(x)−1=02{\cos\left(x\right)}^{2}-\cos\left(x\right)-1 = 0. Das ist eine quadratische Gleichung in cos x, (2cos⁡(x)+1)(cos⁡(x)−1)=0\left(2\cos\left(x\right)+1\right)\left(\cos\left(x\right)-1\right) = 0, also cos x = −1/2, woraus 120° und 240° folgen, oder cos x = 1, woraus 0° folgt.
